Its been an eventful few days. Sunday night my grandma passed away. We had the family get together today. Sad and yet nice all at the same time. Not much else to say...

Well another Valentines day has come and gone, and I couldn't be happier. It's just entirely too commercial, oh and its gay too. Linsie did come through in fine form, by giving me a The Zombie Survival Guide. While I was already pretty confident of my ability to fend off the undead. It never hurts to have another reference in which to polish my skills.
The Zombie book reminds me of one of the finest (and sexiest) movies in my collection: Necromantik. I will admit I found the movie to be quite profound, (and arousing) in fact the movie was the only way I could have an erection for over three months! Even then only for the purposes of Schnoodling in public restrooms in truck stop gasbars on the outskirts of town. Anyways I'm led to believe that Steven wants to watch this movie with me. I'm just giving him fair warning about the sort of things that could occur.
So back to this Valentines gig. I took Linsie to Mykonos and figured she'd enjoy it because she could gorge herself on any number of foods. Instead she opted for a salad. (Feels weird just to type that) and spent the rest of the evening drinking copious amounts of champagne. Needless to say she was drunk and was rewarded with illness in the morning.
That said its officially Xiu Xiu week. Yes one of my favourite bands has a new album coming out on Tuesday: Fabulous Muscles. I have it on order and in the meantime I'll be listening to their other works. That's it for now.

What exactly happened today? When I woke up it was a nice zero degrees. Things were looking up then BAM! blizzard conditions. Tommorrow at work we had a seminar on the go that is now cancelled because people can't get into town. Shitty because I was looking forward to the awesome lunch I picked out...
Not all is bad news however. I got my music in the mail today and lucky for me they screwed up and included some other guys shipment. So Alex from Great Falls. If you're reading this thanks for Paul's Boutique.
Also of interest for music fans. The legendary band the Pixies is playing the Prairieland on April 17th. This is the first tour of the newly reunited band with previous dates in Winnipeg and Regina. So if you remember these fellas as a staple in your player back in the highschool days. You'd be wise to check it out.

Wow what a day indeed. First off I worked like a bastard all morning doing quotations and job takeoffs. I managed to speak with Ryan for a bit and we decided we are going to Edmonton on March 5th to see a band and basically destroy Edmonton once and for all. (I've always hated that city). Anyways this afternoon the boss told me they want to send me to a convention in March. The two dates I can chose from are in Orlando and Austin. I'm leaning to the Orlando one, because I want to wrestle a gator and try and fly back with a bunch of illegal Floridian mushrooms. If I'm caught I have my full proof plan of blaming Linsie.
Want to see the cutest kid ever?

Hehehehehehehehehe..he..heh. Yes its me again with the blog with "More kicks then a baby in a mother's stomach." Anyways Saturday was Hollapalooza (or however you spell it) thanks to Ty and Nathan for putting that one on. Spent the first bit of that party drinking rye with Dog Pound and watching the Oilers lose. Then its kind of blurry with patches of myself and Clayton wreaking havoc, posing for pictures with cigars, and listening to Linsie tell Travis I'm totally inadequate in the bedroom. But then again you all know that disappointment is what I do best!
I spent most of Sunday sleeping and then Linsie and I went to Athena's to watch the Super Bowl with her friends. I was disappointed to see Carolina lose the game not so much because I like them, but because Linsie wanted the Patriots (Or more specifically Tom Brady) to win the game.
Last night I met up with Robin and Leslie at Alexanders for a couple of drinks, which ended up at Ryly's with a lot of drinks, and ended with Linsie and Robin beating the crap out of me. Of course being a firm believer in Karma it was satisfying to see them both with multiple bruises and basically just all around in a lot of pain.
I just noticed I got some mail and my new credit card just arrived! This is pretty sweet, I'll have to celebrate by having a party at YC's. That's it for me. I bid adieu!

I know its obvious. I haven't updated in awhile and I will use the excuse that I was busy. So lay off! Anyways on my birthday the girls at work composed a nice song for me (okay they didn't I just requested they do so), but I did get some sugary twinky like candies that were good. Later that evening Linsie took me to the Granary for supper, which is always delicious. I got to pick where I wanted to go, but I could see her using that female mind bending trick to make me choose the Granary, so I picked that place to appease her. (read on and you will see why that was a good idea)
We had inventory this weekend but that didn't stop me from going out drinking last night with Ryan. We kept it pretty mellow until Ryan crushed up a fisherman's friend tablet on the table and we took turns snorting it. The waitress said it kind of looked bad to the other customers, but since when did I start caring what total strangers thought?
Linsie and I have begun the abusive stage of our relationship. She spent most of last night poking me, throwing water on me, and forcing me to watch Chicago. I retaliated by throwing a phone book at her. I know that sounds violent until you remember those iddy bitty phonebooks we got this year.
This morning was a rough day of work but I managed to get through it and on the way home my car got stuck in some snow, but I was too tired to care. I abandoned my car and went home to bed where I promptly slept until now.

This cold weather really sucks. It sucks even more then the dog pound, so you can tell just how much I think it sucks. To top it off the fan in my car stopped working so there is no heat for me on those fun drives to work in the morning. Hooray!
Went to Emerald lake with the boys to celebrate Leslie's, Jeremy's, James', and yours truly birthdays. Lots of alcohol, lots of good eats including a haunch of steak, and a giant ham! I even had the pleasure of owning some cold, clammy, hell feet of death!(R) that I got to attack Linsie with. It was a nice change indeed.
So tommorrow is my birthday. It'll be my 26th on this foul planet, so be sure to wish me a happy birthday, or don't. Either way I don't care.

Well two days in the basket and only three more to go. Forgot to mention some things from the weekend. I went to Linsie's friend Jessica's birthday party at Vangelis. I started off on the right foot by not complementing Linsie who apparently spent hours getting ready. She did look good, and I thought we had this agreement that I didn't have to verbally give comments? =) Oh well she made up for it by talking about how long her straightened hair was all night.
She also made another Jason her mark by constantly placing her Cold Hands of Death(tm) on his shaved skull. He didn't like it so much and begged me to intervene, which I was torn about considering she usually uses me as her personal hand warmer. Of course I came to his rescue with a few well placed pokes. (Actually she's ticklish anywhere. It's almost too easy.)
I noticed that Steven is going to see David Bowie. I'm quiet impressed and even a little jealous. He should enjoy the show immensely. He's moved up in my books, and I'm glad he noticed that I made some spelling corrections.

Blah! Another weekend in the books and yet another week of work on the slate. On Friday Jer stopped by at work and wanted to go drinking. He tried to pull me out of work early (okay he didn't pull that hard) The plan was to go for a couple of beers, but it turned into a six hour drinkfest in which I smoked a full pack of smokes. Then afterwards I went and babysat. Yay power parenting!
Both the Eagles and the Colts lost much to my dismay, but I guess I don't really care about football so much so I won't lose any sleep over it. What was making me lose sleep was this stupid computer. I foolishly downloaded a video driver at the reccomendation of those fine gents at Microsoft. Of course my computer was a mess afterwards, but eventually the computer let me load (after 30 or so reboots) into Safe Mode and I rectified the problem.
Next weekend is my birthday celebration out at Emerald Lake. Should be a good time for those that come. I'll see if I can't get some pictures of that weekend for your enjoyment.

So January 19th is Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, and in typical form President Bush makes a disgrace by shamelessly using MLK's burial site as a photo op. Bush a man whose agenda is so far apart from that what MLK stood for was thankfully greeting by hundreds of protesters.
These people refused to stand in the "first ammendment zones" which was a fenced off nearly 2 football fields away. Instead they opt'd to camp out across the street from the burial site and refused to move. Police then placed buses in front of them, so the "people's pResident" wouldn't have to see their presence which would befoul his insane belief that this world loves him. And while they may have placed buses in front of those people there was nothing they could do to stop their chants and the banging of their drums as they voiced displeasure at a man that does not represent them. A man whom disgustingly uses the great civil rights leader to make himself appear compassionate. In the end Bush only hung around for a few minutes, not realizing that for decades blacks in America fought against being pushed to the back of the bus. Ironically he put them behind the bus. I hope that sentiment is not lost on voters next November.
As for me things have been alright. Did a little shopping and bought some shirts. Went to Fuddruckers with Linsie and consumed copious amounts of liquid cheese. *yummy* This weekend I'm going to a birthday party. I'm hoping to do some boozing that night since that's what I do best. I'll give you the lowdown on Sunday.
I couldn't help but notice that Steven mentioned my blog and my unsolicited attack of his person. I'm surprised I found the time to check out his site at all... You know cuz its mediocre.

Well I slept most of Sunday away as I prepared for my return to work today. Work progressed rather slowly considering its 1). Boring and 2). I was in the habit of waking up at 3pm these past few weeks.
Anyways I watched S.W.A.T. and The Order this weekend. S.W.A.T. was your typical lame action movie where Colin Ferrell shows his muscles and some french guy gets his ass kicked all over the place. You can't help but think this movie wants you to know how much America kicks ass.
The Order was good. I'm a sucker for the Occult/Religion/Arcane movie genre. This one was right up my alley. Of course I loved the 9th Gate and everybody hated that movie so if you didn't like that one you likely won't like this one.
Linsie occupied the majority of Sunday. I enjoyed tormenting her as Green Bay lost in overtime. She tried to return the favor when the Oilers lost only problem is that I love when the Oiler lose. Later in the evening as I attempted to leave she stole my keys and pleaded with me to take her with me. Which goes to show you that while she has the air of a fierce tiger she's actually just a sad, meek, kitten. Oh yeah she also hates the idea of this site and especially myself making mention of her. But I will not let her censor me or take away my fun, which is something all girls either consciously or unconsciously attempt to do. And that's not just me saying that. Scientists have actually proven that all women are Fun Ogres in some capacity. Of course the study didn't go far enough in concluding that some women are also Slough Pigs in addition to Fun Ogres.
I also have a couple of pictures from Baldwin, YC, and my trip to Edmonton in early November. In one I'm laying defeated on the ground after I was beaten up on and had snow stuffed up my shirt and the other is a picture of Baldwin eating a bunch of pre chewed celery that I spit up.
In other news I see George Bush is in Mexico spreading his black hand of death to the Americas. Protests had some nice things to say to him.

Well Mike Comrie night went off without a hitch. The boys showed up and smoked my cigarettes, and watched pornography. Mike Comrie got shutout along with the rest of the Flyers as the Oilers won 3-0.
After the boys went home I was left bored at 8:30pm on a Saturday night so I figured I would drink all the booze I could find in the house. Sadly there wasn't much, and I hardly had a buzz. Then I talked to Linsie whom informed me that she was going to the Pat. Which was kind of odd because I don't remember giving her permission to do so. Oh well I'll have to make the point of letting her know whom the boss is. Listening Advice of Today: Palace Music - Viva Lost Blues

So today I'm preparing for the return of Mike Comrie by... well basically by placing my dirty clothes in the hamper and brushing my teeth. I'm still off work for a couple more days so I refuse to shower or brush my hair, but you get the point.
A good friend of mine gave me the in on some nice cheap cigs. I can get a pack of Peter Jackson's for only 7.68! Hard to beat that. I think I'm going to go and enjoy one right now.

Yeah so in the spirit of "webblogmania" (That's my phrase not yours!) I've decided to give people a window to the insanity (and boredom) of my life. Rblords style of course!
Tonight I'm hosting a special get together at my (ahem YC's) place for the Oilers/Flyers PPV. Its the return of Mike Comrie and I'm predicting a three point night from the little runt.
I'm also predicting much alcohol consumed, and maybe some shnoodling. (If I'm lucky)
